Prevalent Eurasian avian-like H1N1 swine influenza virus with 2009 pandemic viral genes facilitating human infection
Honglei Sun,Yihong Xiao,Jiyu Liu,Dayan Wang,Dayan Wang,Fangtao Li,Chenxi Wang,Chong Li,Junda Zhu,Jingwei Song,Haoran Sun,Zhimin Jiang,Litao Liu,Xin Zhang,Kai Wei,Dongjun Hou,Juan Pu,Yipeng Sun,Qi Tong,Yuhai Bi,Kin-Chow Chang,Sidang Liu,George F. Gao,George F. Gao,George F. Gao,Jinhua Liu +25 more
TL;DR: A recently emerged genotype 4 (G4) reassortant Eurasian avian-like H1N1 virus, which bears 2009 pandemic (pdm/09) and triple-reassortant (TR)-derived internal genes and has been predominant in swine populations since 2016, is identified.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hydropericardium syndrome outbreak caused by fowl adenovirus serotype 4 in China in 2015.
TL;DR: FAdV-4 was highly pathogenic to embryos and specific pathogen-free chickens, causing 100 and 70 % mortality rates, respectively, and is associated with HPS outbreaks in China.
Journal ArticleDOI
Epidemiological investigation of outbreaks of fowl adenovirus infections in commercial chickens in China
TL;DR: To control fowl adenovirus, strict biosecurity protection measures are necessary, and a continued surveillance of FAdVs is needed to increase the understanding of the epidemiology of the viruses that are associated with IBH and HPS.
Journal ArticleDOI
The comprehensive diagnosis and prevention of duck plague in northwest Shandong province of China
Guangwen Wang,Yajin Qu,Fangkun Wang,Dongfang Hu,Litao Liu,Ning Li,Ruichao Yue,Chao Li,Sidang Liu +8 more
TL;DR: The diagnosis of DP infection was confirmed by comprehensive analyses of epidemiological data, clinical signs, necroscopic features, histopathological examinations, and viral isolation and identification, and possible causes of the DP outbreak and the prevalence of the virus in Shandong province were analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of age on the pathogenesis of duck tembusu virus in Cherry Valley ducks.
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that viral pathogenesis is strongest in 1-week-old ducks and the age-related immune response plays an important role in the pathogenesis of DTMUV in ducks.
