Square planar silver(I) complexes: A rare but increasingly observed stereochemistry for silver(I)

Solvothermal reactions of Ca(NO3)2 or Ba(NO3)2 with aromatic carboxylate ligands afforded four new inorganic–organic hybrid frameworks, [Ca(PBDC)(H2O)3]n (1), [Ca(OBDC)(H2O)]n (2), [Ba5(OBDC)4(H2O)2(NO3)2]n (3), and [Ba3(BTC)2(H2O)4]n (4) (H2PBDC = terephthalic acid, H2OBDC = phthalic acid, H3BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid). These compounds have been fully characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, powder X-ray diffraction, satisfactory elemental analysis, IR spectra, and TG analysis. X-ray analysis shows that compound 1 features a one-dimensional chain (1D) structure with the I1O0 connectivity, both compound 2 and compound 3 feature a two-dimensional (2D) layer structure with the I1O1 connectivity, I2O0 connectivity, respectively, compound 4 features a three-dimensional (3D) framework with a rare I3O0 connectivity. Thermal stabilities and luminescent properties of compounds 1–4 and NLO property of compound 4 have also been investigated.

A Series of Ca(II) or Ba(II) Inorganic–Organic Hybrid Frameworks Based on Aromatic Polycarboxylate Ligands with the Inorganic M–O–M (M = Ca, Ba) Connectivity from 1D to 3D

Five new silver(I) complexes of formulas [Ag(Tpms)] (1), [Ag(Tpms)(PPh3)] (2), [Ag(Tpms)(PCy3)] (3), [Ag(PTA)][BF4] (4), and [Ag(Tpms)(PTA)] (5) {Tpms = tris(pyrazol-1-yl)methanesulfonate, PPh3 = triphenylphosphane, PCy3 = tricyclohexylphosphane, PTA = 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane} have been synthesized and fully characterized by elemental analyses, 1H, 13C, and 31P NMR, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS), and IR spectroscopic techniques. The single crystal X-ray diffraction study of 3 shows the Tpms ligand acting in the N3-facially coordinating mode, while in 2 and 5 a N2O-coordination is found, with the SO3 group bonded to silver and a pendant free pyrazolyl ring. Features of the tilting in the coordinated pyrazolyl rings in these cases suggest that this inequivalence is related with the cone angles of the phosphanes. Synthesis, antimicrobial and antiproliferative activity of novel silver(I) tris(pyrazolyl)methanesulfonate and 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphadamantane complexes.

New coordination polymers have been obtained by the self-assembly of silver salts AgX (X = BF4, PF6, CF3SO3) and 2,4-diamino-6-R-1,3,5-triazines L (R = phenyl and p-tolyl) of formulas AgLX (1−6). A complex of different stoichiometry, [Ag3L2(H2O)(acetone)2](BF4)3, 7 (R = phenyl), has also been synthesized. The three-dimensional structures of five compounds have been determined by X-ray diffraction studies. For the AgLX complexes, when X = BF4 and R = phenyl or p-tolyl, chiral chains with alternating Ag and L are formed. The chains are cross-linked by the counteranions in a three-dimensional fashion through hydrogen bonds and weak Ag···F interactions giving rise to a structure with solvent-filled channels. Different and more compact structures have been found when the counteranion is CF3SO3 (OTf). Knowledge is the sensing of object (Arifah E A & Fridayanti W, 2016). Participation is personal involvement (Dwiningrum, 2018). Support is verbal or non-verbal advice, action have emotional benefit. This study aim to show that teaching classes for pregnant women have a good impact on pregnant women, which increase the knowledge and skill of pregnant women in dealing with pregnancy until the parturition process. Teaching class for pregnant women aim to reduce maternal and infant mortality. 
This study aim to determine the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and family support on the participation of pregnant women in the Teaching Class for Pregnant Women in the working area of ​​the Panca Makmur Health Center UPT. This type of research is a quantitative study with a descriptive correlational approach. Normality test was carried out using descriptive analytic with a sample size of 36 so that the significant value of Kolmogorov-Smirnov was selected. So the correlation test use rank spearment 
The results showed that the knowledge of pregnant women was not good enough for 4 respondents (11.1%) and 32 respondents (88.8%). Poor family support 19 respondents (52.7%) and good support 17 respondents (47.2 %). Participation of pregnant women in teaching classes for pregnant women is not good 7 respondents (19.4%) and 29 respondents are good (80.6%). The rank spearment test shows that H1 is rejected, meaning that there is no relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and family support on the participation of pregnant women in teaching classes for pregnant women in the working area of ​​UPT Puskesmas Panca Makmur.

Abstract: 
Higher education is a forum for the development and integration of unlimited knowledge. 
Various kinds of experts and researchers as well as great leaders were born from universities. It is different from increasing religious moderation through seminars or other similar things. The role of higher education institutions in shaping religious moderation through the integration of knowledge will differ from moderation through seminars. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the role of universities in increasing religious moderation. This study uses descriptive methods and uses a qualitative approach.  After conducting research, it was found that there was an increase in religious moderation in tertiary institutions through the integration of science. This shows that higher education is the right place to guide cadres who carry a modern and open ideology. Because higher education plays a role as a medium for inclusive and moderate education, religious moderation laboratory base, creator of the socio-religious environment in religion and state as well as competency builders and moderation movements.

The Role of Higher Education Integrated with Religious Moderation

Chemistry practicum is still only concept verification or is a cookbook.This study aims to develop student worksheets on producing jelly as a colloid product by using perdu cincau leaves (Premna Oblongifolia). The method used in this study is development research with ADDIE models (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), which only done until development step. Analysis curricula of colloid topic and study of literature on project-based practicum and perdu cincau leaves have been carried out at analysis step. At this step also interviewed high school teachers and found that there is no student worksheets for supporting KD 4.15. At design step, the experiment of jelly producing using perdu cincau leaves was optimized and the best laboratory work design was obtained, such as materials, tools and procedures. Then, a project-based laboratory worksheet draft was created and validated by experts. Based on the suggestions given by the validator, content number 11 was omitted because it contained irrelevant instructions. Content number 2 added instructions. Content number 15 and 16 an explanation is added. Content number 3, 4 and 12, it is necessary to edit sentences. After revising, student worksheets is ready to be implemented in learning activities.

Lembar Kerja Laboratorium Berbasis Proyek Pembuatan Koloid dengan Pemanfaatan Daun Cincau Perdu (Premna Oblongifolia)

In the previous study, the 9-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-3,4,5,6,7,9-hexahydro-1H-xanthene-1,8(2H)-dione has been successfully synthesized using lime juice as a green catalyst. Condition optimization was still needed to enhance the reaction yield. In this research, the compound has been synthesized using lime juice assisted by ultrasonic irradiation. The use of ultrasonic waves aimed to enhance product yield and reduce reaction time and temperature when lime juice was applied as the catalyst at the reaction. The non-catalyst compound was synthesized using water as a solvent and assisted by ultrasonic irradiation, producing a yield of 45.16%. In contrast, the lime juice catalyst synthesized product brings a higher yield of 89.03%. This study discusses the role of lime juice catalysts in improving yield percentage and decreasing reaction time and temperature. The synthesized compound 1 was in the form of white powder with a melting point of 228-230°C. GC-MS analysis of compound 1 confirms a single peak with a retention time of 15.497 minutes and a peak with an m/z value of 310.1 in.the MS spectrum as molecular ion of the compound. The presence of a phenolic group at the compound induces its antibacterial activity. However, the antibacterial test showed that the compound has weak antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and no activity against Staphylococcus aureus. 

Ultrasound-assisted synthesis of 9-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)-3,4,5,6,7,9-Hexahydro-1H-Xanthene-1,8(2H)-Dione using lime juice catalyst and its antibacterial activity

It is crucial that the concepts of buffer solutions must be properly understood by students. It is due to the fact that buffer solutions are closely related to daily life, for example in blood, drugs, and others. The results of research and interviews show that students' understanding and student learning outcomes about the buffer solution material is still low. A student-centered learning process is needed so that it can make the learning process more fun and improve students’ learning outcomes. A meaningful student-centered learning is needed for the Learning Cycle (LC) learning model. However, the group discussion on the 5E LC learning model was less patterned, so it was combined with a patterned cooperative learning model that is Think-Pair-Share (TPS). This study aims to see the implementation of the learning process from the classroom with 5E LC -TPS and 5E LC learning models, and the influence of the 5E LC-TPS on cognitive learning outcomes from the eleventh grade students of Sidoarjo on buffer solution material. The design of the study used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with post-test-only-control group design. The research finding showed that: (1) the implementation of the learning process of the two categorized classes was done very well that is 98.3 percent in the experimental class and 95.4 percent in the control class, (2) there is the influence of the  5E LC learning model combined by TPS on the cognitive learning outcomes of class students as indicated by the significant average differences of the two classes. The average value of cognitive learning outcomes of experimental class students is higher than the control class which is equal to 85.43 and the control class is 81.62. From the results of these studies it can be concluded that there is the influence of the 5E LC-TPS learning model on improving students' cognitive learning outcomes.
 
Konsep-konsep larutan penyangga perlu dipahami siswa karena larutan penyangga erat kaitannya dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, misalnya penyangga karbonat dalam darah, obat-obatan, dan lain-lain. Hasil penelitian dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman siswa dan hasil belajar siswa tentang materi larutan penyangga masih rendah. Diperlukan suatu proses pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa sehingga dapat menjadikan proses pembelajaran lebih bermakana dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu pembelajaran bermakna yang berpusat pada siswa adalah model pembelajaran Learning Cycle (LC). Namun, diskusi kelompok pada model pembelajaran LC 5E kurang berpola, sehingga dipadukan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif yang berpola yaitu Think Pair Share (TPS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran dari kelas dengan model pembelajaran LC 5E-TPS  dan LC 5E serta pengaruh model pembelajaran LC 5E -TPS terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Sidoarjo pada materi larutan penyangga. Rancangan Penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan eksperimental semu dengan post-test-only-control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran kedua kelas terkategori  terlaksana dengan sangat baik, yaitu 92,11 persen pada kelas eksperimen dan 90,78 persen pada kelas kontrol. (2) ada pengaruh model pembelajaran LC 5E yang dipadu TPS terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas yang ditunjukkan oleh perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan dari kedua kelas. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol yaitu sebesar 85,43 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 81,62. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh  model pembelajaran LC 5E-TPS terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.
