Journal ArticleDOI

A critical review on deployment planning and risk analysis of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) toward carbon neutrality

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors provide an overview of model-based CCUS deployment pathways toward carbon neutrality, as well as the associated risks of financial, technical, environmental, health and safety (EHS) aspects.
Journal ArticleDOI

Substitution effect of renewable portfolio standards and renewable energy certificate trading for feed-in tariff

TL;DR: In this paper, compared with FIT, renewable portfolio standards (RPS) and the Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) trading have been considered to reduce the government's expenditure caused by the subsidization.
Journal ArticleDOI

GIS-Based Multi-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization of charging stations for electric vehicles

TL;DR: A mathematically optimal model with two objective functions is developed to analyze the relationship between upfront investments and operating costs and service coverage of charging station system and it was solved by Particle Swarm Optimization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study on the promotion impact of demand response on distributed PV penetration by using non-cooperative game theoretical analysis

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluate the promotion impact of the response capability of smart home consumers on the distributed PV penetration using non-cooperative game theoretical analysis, and find that the consumers with higher response capability are able to accept larger PV capacity because the marginal revenue of new installed PV for smart consumers decreases much more slowly compared to that of a common consumer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Industrial structure, energy intensity and environmental efficiency across developed and developing economies: The intermediary role of primary, secondary and tertiary industry

TL;DR: In this article , the authors examined the nonlinear relationship between industrial structure, energy intensity and environmental efficiency across developed and developing countries by utilizing three sectors of industry i.e., primary, secondary and tertiary industry.
