VLSI fabrication principles : silicon and gallium arsenide

TL;DR: In this article, phase diagrams and solid solubility of phase diagrams are used to describe the properties of phase-diagrams and solid-solubility properties of materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Deposition of GaAs Epitaxial Layers by Organometallic CVD Temperature and Orientation Dependence

TL;DR: In this article, a model for the epitaxial growth of by the organometallic process is proposed, based on these findings, and the growth rate is studied as a function of the growth parameters and substrate orientation, and is related to the decomposition of the two reactants trimethylgallium and arsine.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystallographic tilting of heteroepitaxial layers

TL;DR: In this paper, a general theory for tilted epitaxy is proposed, including both contributions cited above, and it is shown that the preferential glide of certain Burgers orientations is the result of vicinal substrates, commonly used in heteroepitaxy, which create an assymetry in the stresses for the various active slip systems.
