Abstract: Mastering Indonesian language is a crucial thing although it is not one of requirements to study in Indonesia. The foreign students need to speak in Indonesian language because people like to communicate in same language. That’s why many Indonesian Language Teaching Institutions for Foreign Students (ILTIFS) provided some services to conduct Indonesian learning especially in Central Java- Indonesia. This study is purposed to describe an effort to develop Indonesian learning material for foreign students enriched by local culture. Learning language means learning its culture, foreign students need to know local culture so they can communicate contextually and avoid from shock culture in early living here. The paper used qualitative description to explain four steps on developing learning material.

Abstract: Curriculum management is one aspect that influences the success of learning in national education. Education is currently entering the era of education 4.0 characterized by the use of digital technology in the learning process or known as cyber systems and the use of international languages. The education era 4.0 needs to be followed by curriculum management in educational institutions starting at the elementary school level. The curriculum management scope includes planning, implementing and evaluating the curriculum. The purpose of this study was to describe management in planning, implementing and evaluating curriculum in the era of education 4.0 at SDII Al-Abidin Surakarta. This research is qualitative research with a case study in SDII Al-Abidin Surakarta. The research subject is the head of curriculum SDII Al-Abidin. The technique of collecting data is in-depth interviews. The results showed that SDII Al-Abidin implemented three curricula which include: official curriculum (curriculum 2013), JSIT curriculum and Cambridge curriculum. The 2013 curriculum aims to produce graduates who are following the graduation standards of the government, JSIT curriculum to equip morals, religion, and the Cambridge curriculum equips students with English which is an international language to be ready in the 4.0 industrial revolution. The three curricula are synergetic and inseparable from one another.

Abstract: Purpose of the Study: This study aims to explain the collection of children's poetry by elementary school students in a book entitled "Keragaman Budaya Indonesia" and "Sehimpun Puisi. Resep Membuat Jagat Raya" in the multiculturalism perspective. Methodology: This study used the qualitative study paradigm rules with the content analysis method. The data in this study were the multiculturalism values in children's poetry. The data were sourced from a poetries book by elementary school students. They were then analyzed using interactive analysis techniques (data reduction, data presentation, and verification). Main Findings: The findings showed that there are fourteen indicators of multiculturalism, among others, respect for cultural equality, social class, ethnicity, gender, language, religion, race, skin color, and pluralism, equality of rights, customs, behavior patterns, education equality and tolerance in the poetries book. Applications of this study: The results of this study can be useful for teachers and elementary school students in Indonesia in teaching poetry writing and inculcating the values of multiculturalism. Also, it can be beneficial for the lecturers and the university students of Elementary School Teacher Education in Indonesia in teaching children's literature with multiculturalism. Novelty/Originality: The novelty of this research/study is to explore a collection of children's poetry books written by elementary school students from the perspective of multiculturalism. The importance of early recognition of the value of multiculturalism in children is used to teach children to respect each other and live in harmony and free from the prejudices of religious discrimination, gender, race, culture, skin color, social class, educational equality, and student diversity.

Abstract: Digital learning media are needed by educators to create meaningful learning. So, it needs a lot of creative, effective, and educational innovations. This study aims to describe the state of mathematics learning media in elementary schools and to analyze the need for developing interactive multimedia learning based on a guided inquiry on geometry material for fifth-grade elementary schools in Surakarta. The method in this research is qualitative and quantitative research designs. The data collection technique used a purposive sampling technique. The sample taken consisted of 116 students and 4 teachers. Interviews, observations, and document analysis were used for qualitative data collection, while quantitative data were carried out using questionnaires. An interactive analysis is used to describe the data that has been collected. From the data obtained, it can be seen that the teacher sometimes does not have time to prepare learning media. Students and teachers never use interactive mathematics learning multimedia. There are some misconceptions in geometry material so that students are unable to solve problems. Teachers and students need interactive and educational learning media. From the facts and needs of instructional media, it is necessary to develop interactive multimedia learning based on guided inquiry to improve students' problem-solving abilities in geometry material.

Abstract: The objective of the study is to describe the implementation of assessment for learning (AfL) in Indonesian learning in elementary school, particularly in writing skills. The study is a case study with research subjects consisting of a teacher and 28 fourth grade elementary school students in Laweyan, Surakarta. The data was obtained by using questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The study used the triangulation technique as a test of the validity of the data. Data were analyzed using an interactive model with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of AfL in writing skill learning in elementary was completed by the teacher to control completely of students' writing development. Students were assisted to write together until they finished. The results of some of the students' writings were written in a portfolio and at the end of the portfolio programs were exhibited and assessed. This study concludes that writing skills cannot be obtained instantly, it is necessary to implement AfL by utilizing various types of portfolios to improve the quality of the process and the results of writing skill learning in elementary schools.

Abstract: This research aimed to explore the representation of Javanese honorific lexicon in Javanese textbook. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach by analyzing two Javanese-language books used in learning Javanese language in junior high school. This research was conducted using textual analysis method to map honorific vocabulary and literature study. The result of research showed that Javanese-language textbook is one of vehicles to achieve competency. Nevertheless, teaching material sometimes pays attention inadequately to honorific use to others. The honorific use in Javanese language can function to be identity and communication medium for the speaker. Honorific use in Javanese social culture can indicate the politeness of corresponding language user. The use of Javanese language reflecting politeness is conducted by using fine lexicon form. Fine lexicon is used to respect the speech partner. Fine lexicon can be used as honorific lexicon to others. Honorific lexicon in Javanese textbook is represented in teaching material in the form of lexicon form and lexicon form use. The option of lexicon form chosen was fine lexicon. The use of lexicon was adjusted with situation and social factor.
