Alteration of diurnal rhythms of blood pressure and heart rate to workers exposed to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields.
TL;DR: Healthy men aged 28-49 years, working on a pattern of 12-24-12-48 h, exhibited typical, well-preserved diurnal rhythms of blood pressure and heart rate with two maxima and one minimum and changes were more pronounced among workers exposed to high intensities of radiofrequency EMF.
Journal ArticleDOI
Immunotropic influence of 900 MHz microwave GSM signal on human blood immune cells activated in vitro.
TL;DR: The results suggest that immune activity of responding lymphocytes and monocytes can be additionally intensified by 900 MHz microwaves.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ambulatory ECG monitoring in workers exposed to electromagnetic fields
TL;DR: A clear tendency for a higher number of rhythm disturbances was observed in AM broadcast station workers, and electrocardiographic abnormalities detected in the resting and/ or 24 h ECG were significantly more frequent in workers exposed to electromagnetic fields than in non-exposed subjects.
Journal ArticleDOI
Weak (5 mt) static magnetic field stimulates lipid peroxidation in isolated rat liver microsomes in vitro
Journal ArticleDOI
Dysregulation of Autonomic Control of Cardiac Function in Workers at am Broadcasting Stations (0.738–1.503 MHz)
TL;DR: Cardiological examinations included routine electrocardiogram (ECG) at rest, analysis of heart rate variability (HRV), Holter 24-h ECG, and24-h ambulatory blood pressure (ABP) and found measurable effects in the HRV and ABP parameters in the EM-exposed population, but none could be assigned clinical significance.
