Analytical ultracentrifugation in biochemistry and polymer science

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss specific applications to Biochemical and polymer systems in terms of instrumentation, equilibrium and transport methods, as well as their application in biomedical applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

The role of corticotrophin-releasing factor in stress-induced relapse to alcohol-seeking behavior in rats

TL;DR: The present data suggest that CRF contributes to stress-induced relapse to alcohol seeking via its actions on extra-hypothalamic sites, and point to a general role of CRF in relapse to drugs induced by stressors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Polylactide−Poly(ethylene glycol) Copolymers as Drug Delivery Systems. 1. Characterization of Water Dispersible Micelle-Forming Systems

TL;DR: Copolymers of polylactide and poly(ethylene glycol) (PLA−PEG), which self-disperse in water to form spherical nonionic micelles, have been investigated as a novel biodegradable drug delivery system and Testosterone and sudan black B were used as “model drugs” to evaluate the drug loading ability of the micells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Role of alpha-2 adrenoceptors in stress-induced reinstatement of alcohol seeking and alcohol self-administration in rats.

TL;DR: Results indicate that activation of alpha-2 adrencoceptor agonists is involved in both stress-induced reinstatement of alcohol seeking and alcohol self-administration, and should be considered in the treatment of alcohol dependence.
