Journal ArticleDOI
Nickel(II) dithiocarbamate complexes containing the pyrrole moiety for sensing anions and synthesis of nickel sulfide and nickel oxide nanoparticles
TL;DR: In this article, the properties of homoleptic and heteroleptic complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H, 13C NMR, HSQC, HMBC and UV-Vis absorption spectra.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and characterization of [1,2,3]-triazole containing liquid crystals through click reaction
TL;DR: In this paper, two series of heterocyclic liquid crystalline compounds with [1,2,3]-triazole ring at the terminal position were synthesized and analyzed for mesomorphic properties and its characteristics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis, characterization, cytotoxicity and antimicrobial studies on bis(N-furfuryl-N-(2-phenylethyl)dithiocarbamato-S,S')zinc(II) and its nitrogen donor adducts.
TL;DR: Single crystal X-ray structural analysis of 2 and 3 showed that complex 2 is almost half way between trigonal bipyramidal and square pyramidal, and complex 3 has a distorted octahedral geometry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of pyridine as a ligand in precursor on morphology of CdS nanoparticles
N. Srinivasan,Subbiah Thirumaran +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a single source precursors for the preparation of diethylenetriamine capped CdS nanoparticles via solvothermal method was found to yield rod-shaped nanoparticles and flower-like nanoparticles obtained from [Cd(thqdtc)2(py)].
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and spectral studies on Pb(II) dithiocarbamate complexes containing benzyl and furfuryl groups and their use as precursors for PbS nanoparticles.
TL;DR: PXRD measurements suggest that PbS nanoparticles are single phase with face-centered-cubic structure and IR and NMR spectral studies indicate that the S(2)CN double bond character increases with increase in length of alkyl chain bonded to nitrogen atom.
