Journal ArticleDOI

Palladium-silver-activated ZnO surface: highly selective methane sensor at reasonably low operating temperature.

TL;DR: ZnO films with Pd-Ag dotted pattern were found show high selectivity towards methane and sensitivity at a comparatively low operating temperature of about 100°C, which was found to have higher methane selectivity in comparison to other commercially available reducing gas sensor.
Journal ArticleDOI

ZnO/γ-Fe2O3 Charge Transfer Interface toward Highly Selective H2S Sensing at a Low Operating Temperature of 30 °C.

TL;DR: The structural characterization of the deposited material revealed a flowerlike morphology with the coexistence of both ZnO and γ-Fe2O3 leading to the formation of a heterostructure, which showed excellent sensing properties toward the selective detection of H2S at room temperature among the three test gases.
Journal ArticleDOI

Self-cleaning V-TiO 2 :SiO 2 thin-film coatings with enhanced transmission for solar glass cover and related applications

TL;DR: In this article, a self-cleaning transparent coating on glass prepared by spin coating V-TiO 2 :SiO 2 mixed sol where visible light induced photocatalytic activity and super-hydrophilicity aid to selfcleaning and antireflection (AR) property with low refractive index, as compared to uncoated substrate.
Journal ArticleDOI

Liquid gated ZnO nanorod FET sensor for ultrasensitive detection of Hepatitis B surface antigen with vertical electrode configuration

TL;DR: The detection limit which is achieved with the proposed label free sensor in physiological analyte using antibodies is lowered by more than three orders of magnitude compared to the existing reports.
