Journal ArticleDOI

Burn rate enhancement of ammonium perchlorate–nitrocellulose composite solid propellant using copper oxide–graphene foam micro-structures

TL;DR: In this paper, a composite solid propellant, AP-NC (Ammonium Perchlorate-Nitrocellulose) was demonstrated experimentally by coupling to 3-D, highly conductive, interconnected, porous and CuO-functionalized GF (graphene foam) micro-structures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular investigation of sub-to-supercritical transition of hydrocarbon mixtures: Multi-component effect

TL;DR: In this article, molecular dynamics simulations were conducted to better understand the evaporation and mixing behavior of liquid hydrocarbon fuels in ambient gases of varying temperatures and pressures, and the results showed that the presence of helium has very minimal effect on the mixture critical temperature and pressure and does not change the transition behavior.
Journal ArticleDOI

Molecular Dynamics Simulations of Vapor-Liquid Interface Properties of n-Heptane/Nitrogen at Subcritical and Transcritical Conditions.

TL;DR: In this article, the surface tension of n-heptane/nitrogen at various temperatures and pressures in the ranges of 270-648 K and 10-60 bar were investigated using molecular dynamics simulations.
