Abstrak Siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita, mengajukan pertanyaan, membuat langkah-langkah penyelesaian, serta menyelesaikan permasalahan yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model problem based learning dengan pendekatan metakognisi terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitafif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes uraian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Semerah Kerinci dengan jumlah 84 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara simple random sampling . Kelas VIII D dan VIII A masing-masing terpilih sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol . Analisis data kemampuan pemecahan masalah dilakukan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan pendekatan metakognisi terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. The Effect of Problem Based Learning with Metacognition Approaches on Mathematical Problem Solving Skill Abstract Students have difficulty in solving story problems, asking questions, taking steps to solve, and solving the problems given. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of problem-based learning models with metacognitive approaches to students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This type of research is an experimental study using a quantitative approach. The instrument used was a description test. The population in this study was eighth-grade students of MTs Semerah Kerinci with a total of 84 people. Sampling is done by simple random sampling. Class VIII D and VIII A were respectively chosen as the experimental class and the control class. Data analysis of problem-solving ability is done using the t-test. The results showed that there was an influence of the problem-based learning model of learning with a metacognition approach to students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis materi eksponen dan logaritma ditinjau dari gaya belajar dan perbedaan gender

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa ditinjau dari gaya kognitif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskrif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa prodi pendidikan matematika Unsulbar.Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrument utama yang dipandu tes GEFT, tes pemecahan masalah matematika, dan pedoman wawancara.Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan gambaran mengenai kemampuan pemecahan masalah dari subjek dengan gaya kognitif field independen maupun field dependen. Subjek dengan gaya kognitif field independen lebih analitis sehingga mampu memahami pernyataan verbal dari masalah dan mengubahnya ke dalam kalimat matematika, subjek dapat menentukan rumus yang tepat dalam pemecahan masalah serta mampu mengungkapkan pengetahuan dan langkah-langkah yang sesuai untuk menjawab masalah; selanjutnya, subjek dapat menyelesaikan setiap langkah yang direncanakan serta memperoleh jawaban yang benar dari masalah; pada langkah akhir, subjek mengecek jawabannya. Subjek dengan gaya kognitif field dependen kurang mampu mengubah bahasa verbal ke dalam kalimat matematika; subjek dapat menentukan rumus yang tepat namun kurang mampu menyelesaikan langkah-langkah yang direncanakan sehingga memberikan jawaban yang kurang tepat; selanjutnya subjek tidak melakukan pengecekan kembali atas jawaban yang diperolehnya.

Deskrkipsi Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Ditinjau dari Gaya Kognitif Mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Sulawesi Barat

This research aimed to describe the profil of students’ problem solving of one variable linear equations of the climber students’ in the grade VII of SMP Negeri 3 Palu. The research subject was gained by adversity response profile questionnaire to classify the type of student that type of adversity quotient climber, camper, and a quitter. Subjects used in this research only one student type of climber. The results of this research shows that: (1) understand the problem, students climber unyielding so as to identify and propose things that are known and questioned on the issue, (2) make a plan, students climber motivate yourself and not easily satisfied so as to propose a contingency plan that will be done to solve the problem, (3) carrying out the plan, students climber always trying and not give up so as to implement the plan as planned and the results obtained are correct, and (4) looking back, students climber is not so just believe in the truth of the results obtained, so the retest by linking it known denfan results.

Profil pemecahan masalah persamaan linear satu variabel siswa climber pada kelas vii smp negeri 3 palu

This study aims to analyze the students’ learning quality on the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model nuanced ethnomathematics to students’ problem-solving abilities, and the patterns of problem-solving abilities of mathematics on the application of PBL nuanced ethnomathematics reviewed from Adversity Quotient (AQ) students. This is a mixed method research using a concurrent embedded design. Subjects in this study were determined based on AQ analysis using Adversity Response Profile (ARP) on tenth grade of pharmacy students of Vocational School of Muhammadiyah 3 Weleri, Kendal. Data collection techniques used in this research are observations, tests, and interviews. The results showed that learning with PBL model nuanced ethnomathematics gave impact on the quality to students’ problem-solving ability. The problem-solving ability of quitter students in solving problems is only up to the stage of understanding the problem. The NCTM indicator that can be achieved by quitter students is only the first indicator. Meanwhile the problem-solving ability of camper and climber students in solving the problem up to the re-checking stage. Camper and climber students can reach all NCTM solving indicators.

Mathematical Mathematical Problem Solving Ability Of Vocational School Students On Problem Based Learning Model Nuanced Ethnomatematics Reviewed From Adversity Quotient

The study aims to determine the differences in field-independent cognitive styles with a dependent on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This researcher uses a quantitative approach with a correlational survey method with factual exposure research types. The study population was the seventh grade students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Lombok Timur, amounting to 680. The sampling used was simple random sampling technique. The sampling technique uses percentage techniques. From a population of 680 people taken 10%, so the number of samples in this study was 68 people. The hypothesis analysis test used the t test with SPSS 22. The results showed that there was a difference between students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the group of students who had a field independent cognitive style and a group of students who had a field dependent cognitive style. the principal in recruiting students to enter the Madrasah Tsnawiyah, not only the value of the results of the National Primary School exam but rather the grouping of students based on independent and field dependent cognitive field styles

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika berupa game edukasi “Petualangan Matematika” berbasis komputer pada materi operasi hitung pecahan kelas V. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan mengunakan model pengembangan berupa ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Namun penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap ketiga yaitu development, dikarenakan pada penelitian ini belum terdapat RPP dan silabus untuk tahap selanjutnya. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan uji formatif untuk produk yaitu uji validasi dan uji kelas kecil. Uji validasi ahli dilakukan oleh 3 dosen ahli yaitu ahli bahasa, ahli materi, dan ahli media. Sedangkan uji kelas kecil dilakukan oleh 1 guru dan 25 peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Cikahuripan 01. Berdasarkan hasil uji formatif dapat disimpulkan aplikasi game edukasi “Petualangan Matematika” berbasis komputer pada materi operasi hitung pecahan merupakan aplikasi yang praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan sebagai media belajar mandiri.
