UAV Computing-Assisted Search and Rescue Mission Framework for Disaster and Harsh Environment Mitigation

TL;DR: This paper evaluates the network performance of UAV-assisted intelligent edge computing to expedite SAR missions and functionality, as this technology can be deployed within a short time and can help to rescue most people during a disaster.
Journal ArticleDOI

Computing in the Sky: A Survey on Intelligent Ubiquitous Computing for UAV-Assisted 6G Networks and Industry 4.0/5.0

TL;DR: The utility of UAV computing and the critical role of Federated Learning (FL) in meeting the challenges related to energy, security, task offloading, and latency of IoT data in smart environments are highlighted.
Journal ArticleDOI

The novel strain Fusarium proliferatum LE1 (RCAM02409) produces α-L-fucosidase and arylsulfatase during the growth on fucoidan.

TL;DR: Comparative screening for fucoidanase/arylsulfatase/α‐L‐fucosidase activities among several related Fusarium strains showed a uniqueness of F. proliferatum LE1 to produce arylsulf atase and α‐L-fucOSidase enzymes, which was shown to produce other glycoside hydrolyses.
Journal ArticleDOI

Blockchain-Empowered Security and Energy Efficiency of Drone Swarm Consensus for Environment Exploration

TL;DR: In this article , a novel blockchain-based approach is introduced to manage multi-drone collaboration during a swarm operation. And the authors aim to improve the security of the consensus achievement process of multidrone collaboration, energy efficiency, and connectivity during the environment's exploration while maintaining consensus achievement effectiveness.
