Mellowing Skeptical Consumers: Processing of Sponsorship Linked Advertising Versus Non Sponsorship Linked Advertising

TL;DR: This article examined consumer responses to an important sponsorship leveraging tool, sponsorship-linked advertising in this context, and found that advertising elicits more favorable cognitive response than traditional advertising, and that advertisers can strategically temper consumer skepticism through specific cues in ad execution.
