TL;DR: This document defines six domains of AF care (patient assessment, anticoagulation, rate control, rhythm control, risk factor management, and outcomes), and provides 17 main and 17 secondary QIs for the diagnosis and management of AF.

Georg Nölker,Julia Mayer,Leif-Hendrik Boldt,Karlheinz Seidl,Vincent J. van Driel,Thomas Massa,Marc Kollum,Johannes Brachmann,T. Deneke,Gerhard Hindricks,Werner Jung,Kyle J. Brunner,Stacia Merkel Kraus,Alexander Hümmer,Thorsten Lewalter +14 more
TL;DR: The DETECT AF study evaluated the performance of the Confirm DM2102 ICM to accurately detect and monitor AF.
Journal ArticleDOI
Primer on Pulsed Electrical Field Ablation: Understanding the Benefits and Limitations.
TL;DR: In this article, the key aspects that need to be considered for safe and effective PEF delivery are reviewed, and their impact on clinical feasibility is discussed, and the most important benefit of PEF appears to be the ability to kill cells through mechanisms that do not alter stromal proteins, sparing sensitive structures to improve safety, without sacrificing cardiomyocyte ablation efficacy.
Journal ArticleDOI
VT Recurrence After Ablation: Incomplete Ablation or Disease Progression? A Multicentric European Study
Benjamin Berte,F. Sacher,Jeroen Venlet,David Andreu,Saagar Mahida,B. Aldhoon M.D.,T. De Potter,Andrea Sarkozy,Rene Tavernier,Marius Andronache,T. Deneke,J Kautzner,Antonio Berruezo,Hubert Cochet,Katja Zeppenfeld,Pierre Jaïs +15 more
TL;DR: To determine whether ventricular tachycardia recurrences in arrhythmogenic RV cardiomyopathy (ARVC) and nonischemic heart disease (NICM) are related to incomplete ablation or disease progression, data are analyzed through positron emission tomography and EMT.
