Journal ArticleDOI
A phase II study of YM155, a novel small-molecule suppressor of survivin, in castration-resistant taxane-pretreated prostate cancer
Anthony W. Tolcher,David I. Quinn,Anna C. Ferrari,F. Ahmann,Giuseppe Giaccone,T. Drake,Anne Keating,J.S. de Bono +7 more
TL;DR: YM155 has modest activity in taxane-pretreated CRPC with 25% of patients having prolonged stable disease (≥18 weeks) and the regimen appears to be well tolerated.
Journal ArticleDOI
The TBL1 inhibitor, Tegavivint, suppresses tumour growth and enhances T-cell infiltration in preclinical murine β-Catenin mutant hepatocellular carcinoma
T. Drake,Eh Tan,Aphrodite Georgakopoulou,Stephanie May,M. Mueller,S. Horrigan,Kate Holloway,Rahul Aras,Thomas G. Bird +8 more
TL;DR: Holloway et al. as mentioned in this paper showed that small molecule inhibition of the transducin beta-like protein 1 (TBL1) interaction is a tractable therapy in activated β-Catenin/canonical Wnt HCC and characterised its immunomodulatory effects upon the ‘cold' immune microenvironment.
