Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrogen blister formation and cracking behavior for various tungsten materials

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied hydrogen blistering and subsequent cracking behavior of pure W, K-doped W, and La2O3-Doped W. They found that blisters had complicated plateau-like shapes with many cracks.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of tungsten microstructure on blister formation by hydrogen and carbon mixed ion beam irradiation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the characteristics of blister formation for different types of tungsten (stress relieved W. recrystallized W, K-doped W, and La 2 O 3 -doped w) by hydrogen and carbon mixed ion beam irradiation (1 keV H - 3 ).
Journal ArticleDOI

Carbon behavior on tungsten surface after carbon and hydrogen mixed beam irradiation

TL;DR: In this article, the carbon behavior near the surface layer of tungsten after hydrogen and carbon mixed ion beam irradiation was investigated with XPS, and the simulation results qualitatively corresponded to the experimental results except near the top surface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of carbon impurity in fusion plasmas on erosion of RAF first wall

TL;DR: In this paper, the sputtering erosion of RAF (reduced activation ferritic/martensitic steel) was studied under hydrogen and carbon mixed ion beam irradiation and it was found that the effective erosion yield at 453 K was lower than that at 773 K by 18% (34%).
