Journal ArticleDOI

Photocatalytic reduction of dinitrogen to ammonia over noble-metal-loaded TiO2

TL;DR: The photocatalytic reduction of dinitrogen to ammonia is influenced by the nature and amount of metal loading on TiO2 and the optimum metal content varies depending on the nature of the metal as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Selective oxidation and dehydrogenation of benzyl alcohol on ABB′O3 (A=Ba, B=Pb, Ce, Ti and B′=Bi, Cu, Sb)-type perovskite oxides-temperature programmed reduction studies

TL;DR: In this article, the reducibility of perovskite oxides was investigated in the absence and in the presence of oxygen, and it was shown that the reducible oxides are correlated with the metal-oxygen bonding as well as free energy of reduction of B site cations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Catalytic oxidation of toluene with molecular oxygen over Cr-substituted mesoporous materials

TL;DR: In this article, a series of mesoporous ma-terials with pore dimensions greater than 20A have been synthesized using structure-directing templates and they have been found to be active for the vapourphase oxidation of toluene with molecular oxygen.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, characterisation and catalytic properties of vanadium substituted mesoporous aluminophosphates

TL;DR: Vanadium substituted mesoporous AlPO have been synthesized using structure-directing surfactant under hydrothermal synthesis conditions as discussed by the authors, which is capable of promoting the oxidn. of toluene to aldehyde and benzoic acid when the oxidizing agent is 70% tert-Bu hydroperoxide while with 30% H2O2 cresols are formed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Partial oxidation of toluene by O2 over mesoporous Cr/AlPO

TL;DR: In this article, the prepn. of mesoporous Cr/AlPO was carried out under hydrothermal conditions and the catalyst was characterized by low angle XRD, N-adsorption, diffuse reflectance UV-visible spectroscopy, ESR and thermal anal.
