Scanning tunneling microscopy studies of metal clusters supported on TiO2 (110): Morphology and electronic structure

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of the recent scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) studies on nanoclusters supported on TiO2(110) is presented, focusing on the system Au TiO 2 (110).
Journal ArticleDOI

Silver Growth on TiO2(110) (1 × 1) and (1 × 2)†

TL;DR: In this article, the growth and interaction of Ag with the TiO2(110) (1 × 1) and 1 × 2) surfaces were studied by X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS), low-energy ion scattering (LEIS), low energy electron diffraction (LEED), and scanning tunneling microscopy (STM).
Journal ArticleDOI

An XPS Study of the Interaction of Ultrathin Cu Films with Pd(111)

TL;DR: In this article, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was used to study the interaction of ultrathin Cu films with Pd(111), and the effects of Cu coverage and annealing temperature were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tuning of Ultra-Thin Gold Films by Photoreduction

TL;DR: In this paper , it is shown that the resistance, reflectance, and resonant optical response of Au UTMFs can be changed significantly by ultraviolet light, with observed modulation ranges for sheet resistance (Rs) and reflectance of more than 40% and 30%, respectively.
