Journal ArticleDOI

k-Dependent Electronic Structure, a Large "Ghost" Fermi Surface, and a Pseudogap in a Layered Magnetoresistive Oxide

TL;DR: In this article, the k-dependent electronic structure of the low temperature ferromagnetic state of La 1.2Sr1.8Mn2O7 was measured using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy and calculated using the local spin density approximation (LSDA).
Journal ArticleDOI

Photoemission study of the metallic state of lightly electron-doped SrTiO3

TL;DR: In this paper, the behavior of the metallic state of lightly electron-doped SrTiO3 has been studied using angle-integrated ultraviolet photoemission spectroscopy (UPS) and angle-resolved photo-emission (ARPES).
Journal ArticleDOI

Half-metallic density of states in Sr 2 FeMoO 6 due to Hund’s rule coupling

TL;DR: In this paper, the electronic structure of the valence-band photoemission spectra has been investigated by using the Hund's rule energy stabilization, and a double-peak feature has been observed near the Fermi level.
Journal ArticleDOI

Temperature-dependent pseudogaps in colossal magnetoresistive oxides

TL;DR: In this article, the authors show that the pseudogap is a strong function of the layer number of the samples (sample dimensionality) and is strongly temperature dependent, with the changes beginning at the ferromagnetic transition temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Temperature-dependent valence-band photoemission spectra of La 1-x Sr x MnO 3

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the temperature dependence of the photoemission spectra of La{sub 1{minus}x}Sr{sub x}MnO{sub 3} (x=0.0, 0.2, and 0.4) and found that the spectral line shape dramatically changes in the entire valence-band region.
