TL;DR: Behçet's disease (BD) is a chronic, relapsing, inflammatory vascular disease with no pathognomonic test.
Journal ArticleDOI
Accuracy of dermoscopic criteria for the diagnosis of psoriasis, dermatitis, lichen planus and pityriasis rosea.
Aimilios Lallas,Athanassios Kyrgidis,T. Tzellos,Zoe Apalla,E. Karakyriou,Athanasios Karatolias,Ioanna Lefaki,Eleni Sotiriou,Demetris Ioannides,Giuseppe Argenziano,Iris Zalaudek +10 more
TL;DR: Dermoscopy is useful in evaluating skin tumours, but its applicability extends also to the field of inflammatory skin disorders, including plaque psoriasis, dermatitis, lichen planus and pityriasis rosea.
Journal ArticleDOI
Re-evaluation of the risk for major adverse cardiovascular events in patients treated with anti-IL-12/23 biological agents for chronic plaque psoriasis: a meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
TL;DR: The objective is to detect a detrimental or beneficial effect of anti‐IL‐12/23 biological agents for the treatment of chronic plaque psoriasis on major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs).
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: Dermoscopy is a rapid, cheep, non‐invasive and widely used method for the evaluation of skin tumours and, recently, of inflammatory skin diseases, as well.
Journal ArticleDOI
Accuracy of dermoscopic criteria for discriminating superficial from other subtypes of basal cell carcinoma
Aimilios Lallas,T. Tzellos,Athanasios Kyrgidis,Zoe Apalla,Iris Zalaudek,Athanasios Karatolias,Gerardo Ferrara,Simonetta Piana,Caterina Longo,Elvira Moscarella,Alexander J. Stratigos,Giuseppe Argenziano +11 more
TL;DR: Dermoscopy is reliable in differentiating superficial BCC (sBCC) from other BCC subtypes and a diagnostic algorithm is proposed that can predict the diagnosis of sBCC with a sensitivity of 81.9% and a specificity of81.8%.
