TL;DR: In this article, the existence of effective energy transfer from matrix (Tb 3 + cations) to Ce 3 + ions has been shown in TbAG:Ce single crystalline films (SCF) by means of investigation of the time-resolved emission and excitation spectra as well as luminescence decay under excitation by synchrotron radiation.
