Journal ArticleDOI
Survival benefit of lobectomy over gross-total resection without lobectomy in cases of glioblastoma in the noneloquent area: a retrospective study.
Tae Hoon Roh,Tae Hoon Roh,Seok Gu Kang,Ju Hyung Moon,Kyoung Su Sung,Hun Ho Park,Se Hoon Kim,Eui Hyun Kim,Chang-Ki Hong,Chang Ok Suh,Jong Hee Chang +10 more
TL;DR: In cases of completely resectable, noneloquent-area GBMs, SupTR provides superior PFS and OS without negatively impacting patient performance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Extent of resection and molecular pathologic subtype are potent prognostic factors of adult WHO grade II glioma
Jinhyun Choi,Se Hoon Kim,Sung Soo Ahn,Hye Jin Choi,Hong In Yoon,Jaeho Cho,Tae Hoon Roh,Seok Gu Kang,Jong Hee Chang,Chang Ok Suh +9 more
TL;DR: Molecular classification of LGG was of prognostic relevance, with IDH -wildtype patients having a particularly poor outcome, regardless of the treatment, and GTR and IDh -mutant and/or 1p/19q codeletion were favorable prognostic factors for PFS and OS.
Journal ArticleDOI
Long-term outcomes of concomitant chemoradiotherapy with temozolomide for newly diagnosed glioblastoma patients: A single-center analysis.
Tae Hoon Roh,Tae Hoon Roh,Hun Ho Park,Seok Gu Kang,Ju Hyung Moon,Eui Hyun Kim,Chang-Ki Hong,Sung Soo Ahn,Hye Jin Choi,Jaeho Cho,Se Hoon Kim,Seung Koo Lee,Dong Seok Kim,Sun Ho Kim,Chang Ok Suh,Kyu Sung Lee,Jong Hee Chang +16 more
TL;DR: Results showed that OS in patients with GBM who undergo surgery followed by CCRT with TMZ is enhanced by complete resection, and other factors significantly prognostic of OS include that age, involvement of eloquent areas, presence of leptomeningeal seeding, and MGMT promoter methylation were significantly predictive of survival.
Journal ArticleDOI
Proinvasive extracellular matrix remodeling in tumor microenvironment in response to radiation.
Ki Chun Yoo,Yongjoon Suh,Yoojeong An,Hae June Lee,Ye Ji Jeong,Nizam Uddin,Yan Hong Cui,Tae Hoon Roh,Jin Kyoung Shim,Jong Hee Chang,Jong Bae Park,Min Jung Kim,In Gyu Kim,Seok Gu Kang,Su Jae Lee +14 more
TL;DR: It is shown that ionizing radiation affects biomechanical tension in GBM microenvironment and provides proinvasive extracellular signaling cue, hyaluronic acid (HA)-rich condition, and potential therapeutic targets to block mesenchymal shift upon relapse are provided.
Journal ArticleDOI
Intracranial squamous cell carcinoma arising in a cerebellopontine angle epidermoid cyst: A case report and literature review.
TL;DR: Surgical removal followed by radiotherapy shows the best result to treat malignant epidermoid cysts, and finding an area of enhancement through preoperative magnetic resonance imaging can help to make a correct diagnosis.
