PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nose filter which is suitable to a power inverter, etc., by unifying a flat conductor placed on one of both sides of a dielectric sheet with a ground electrode placed on the other side of the dielectric sheet, so as to construct a distribution constant circuit that functions as an inductor and a capacitor. SOLUTION: A flat conductor 1 used as an inductor and having a cross sectional area which can just flow the current of a main circuit of a power converter is placed on one of both side of a dielectric sheet 2, and a conductor 3 used as the ground is placed on the other side of the sheet 2. Since the conductor 3 merely functions to lead the current of noise component flowing via the sheet 2, and accordingly the cross sectional area of the conductor 3 can be reduced when compared with that of the conductor 1. The sheet 2 uses a high polymer resin material containing various high polymer resin materials and an inorganic filler of a high dielectric constant mixed together at a prescribed rate, a green sheet of a ceramic dielectric material, etc., The conductor 3 can also be generated by a plating muthod, a sputtering meshod, etc.

Noise filter for power inverter

The interference signals appear during switching of semiconductor switches in the converter. On the other side of a dielectric panel (2), a first planar conductor (1) is formed. On a second side, a second planar conductor is formed, opposite the first one. The two conductors act with the dielectric panel to form a circuit which functions as a choke and a capacitor. The first conductor comprises an opposite end for the flow of a main circuit current of the converter. The interference based current, flowing from the first conductor through the dielectric panel to the second conductor, can be deflected to earth via the second conductor.
