A merging control algorithm based on inter-vehicle communication

TL;DR: Simulation results show the efficiency of the data transmission and the feasibility of merging control using the data Transmission algorithm and when a platoon consists of ten vehicles, the transmission rate is three times as efficient as the conventional algorithm and it is sufficient for merging control.
Journal ArticleDOI

Planning 3-D Collision-Free Dynamic Robotic Motion Through Iterative Reshaping

TL;DR: A general and practical planning framework for generating 3-D collision-free motions that take complex robot dynamics into account and demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method through examples of a space manipulator with highly nonlinear dynamics and a humanoid robot executing dynamic manipulation and locomotion at the same time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Humanoid Robot HRP-5P: An Electrically Actuated Humanoid Robot With High-Power and Wide-Range Joints

TL;DR: This letter introduces the humanoid robot HRP-5P, which stands for Humanoid Robotics Platform–5 Prototype, developed as a prototype for the next generation humanoid robotics platform, aiming to realize the use of practical humanoid robots in place of humans within large-scale assembly industries such as construction sites, aircraft facilities, and shipyards.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Humanoid robot HRP-2Kai — Improvement of HRP-2 towards disaster response tasks

TL;DR: This paper presents a humanoid robot HRP-2Kai, which is the improvement version of HRp-2 towards disaster response tasks, and presents its basic specification in this paper.
