Traffic Optimization For a Mixture of Self-interested and Compliant Agents

TL;DR: In this article, the authors focus on two commonly used path assignment policies for agents traversing a congested network: self-interested routing and system-optimum routing, and present a computationally tractable method that computes the minimal amount of agents that the system manager needs to influence (compliant agents) in order to achieve system optimal performance.

Game Theory and Traffic Assignment

TL;DR: Treatment of multiple equilibrium solutions using equilibrium refinements and learning algorithms which converge to equilibria under incomplete information and/or bounded rationality of players are discussed in detail.

Transportation Network Issues in Evacuations

TL;DR: In this article, the authors discuss the difficulties that surround a large-scale evacuation and present a summary of studies that use mathematical models to address these problems and highlight some of the challenges in post-disaster management.
