Journal ArticleDOI

Some structural features of amylomaize starch

TL;DR: In this article, Amylomaize starch was sub-fractionated into two components, complexing and non-complexing fractions, and properties of the two components were investigated. But the results were limited.
Journal ArticleDOI

Branching enzyme from amylomaize endosperms

TL;DR: In this paper, a branching enzyme from developing amylomaize endosperms was fractionated by precipitation with ammonium sulfate and separated into two forms by chromatography on DEAE-cellulose.
Journal ArticleDOI

Utilization of partially N-succinylated derivatives of chitosan and glycolchitosan as supports for the immobilization of enzymes.

TL;DR: Favorable activity yields of glucoamylase and β‐fructosidase were attained with PSC and PSGC having high degree of N‐succinylation, but those of D‐glucose isomerase were not affected by the degree of O‐2‐hydroxyethylated chitosan (DS).
Journal ArticleDOI

Purification and characterization of a lectin from the shellfish, Saxidomus purpuratus.

TL;DR: A lectin was purified from a shellfish, Saxidomus purpuratus, using ion-exchange chromatography on DEAE-cellulose and affinity Chromatography on N-acetylglucosamine-Sepharose and showed seven protein bands in polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
