Microwave acceleration of the Pechmann reaction on graphite/montmorillonite K10: application to the preparation of 4-substituted 7-aminocoumarins

TL;DR: In this paper, the Pechmann reaction was performed via microwave irradiation of the reactants on solid support (graphite/montmorillonite K10) for the synthesis of 7-aminocoumarins.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel DYRK1A (dual specificity tyrosine phosphorylation-regulated kinase 1A) inhibitor for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease: effect on Tau and amyloid pathologies in vitro.

TL;DR: EHT 5372 is described, a novel, highly potent DYRK1A inhibitor with a high degree of selectivity over 339 kinases, which is thus as a key element of Aβ‐mediated Tau hyperphosphorylation, which links Tau and amyloid pathologies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of novel 5-substituted indirubins as protein kinases inhibitors.

TL;DR: In an effort to identify new pharmacological inhibitors of disease-relevant protein kinases with increased potency and selectivity, new 5-substituted indirubin derivatives were synthesized and evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microwave-assisted synthesis of galacto-oligosaccharides from lactose with immobilized β-galactosidase from Kluyveromyces lactis

TL;DR: GOS selectivity (GOS synthesis/lactose hydrolysis ratio) increased when the water activity of the media was reduced, notably with a high initial lactose concentration but also by using co-solvents in the media.
Journal ArticleDOI

Microwave-assisted Niementowski reaction. Back to the roots

TL;DR: In this article, the Niementowski synthesis of the 3H-quinazolin-4-one core was reinvestigated using microwave irradiation, and the experimental methodology and microwave conditions described here are well established, allowing significant rate enhancements and good yields compared to conventional reaction conditions.
