Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of different etching modes on bond strength and fatigue strength to dentin using universal adhesive systems.
Toshiki Takamizawa,Wayne W. Barkmeier,Akimasa Tsujimoto,Thomas P. Berry,Hedehiko Watanabe,Robert L. Erickson,Mark A. Latta,Masashi Miyazaki +7 more
TL;DR: The influence of different etching modes on dentin bond quality of universal adhesives was dependent on the adhesive material, however, for the universal adhesion systems, using the total-etch mode did not have a negative impact on dent in bond quality.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of a functional monomer (MDP) on the enamel bond durability of single-step self-etch adhesives.
Kenji Tsuchiya,Toshiki Takamizawa,Wayne W. Barkmeier,Keishi Tsubota,Akimasa Tsujimoto,Thomas P. Berry,Robert L. Erickson,Mark A. Latta,Masashi Miyazaki +8 more
TL;DR: MDP might play an important role in enhancing not only bond strength but also bond durability with respect to repeated subcritical loading after long-term water storage through integrating fatigue testing and long- term water storage.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simulated Wear of Self-Adhesive Resin Cements
Toshiki Takamizawa,Wayne W. Barkmeier,Mark A. Latta,Thomas P. Berry,Akimasa Tsujimoto,Masashi Miyazaki +5 more
TL;DR: The two-way ANOVA of VL using the generalized (bulk) wear model showed a significant effect among the three resin cement materials for the factor of resin cement and the interaction of the cement and cure method, but not for the cure method.
