Journal ArticleDOI
Arthrofibrosis following ACL reconstruction—reasons and outcome
TL;DR: A significant correlation of arthrofibrosis and preoperative irritation, preoperative limited ROM, perioperative pain, and early beginning of muscle training was found and the decrease of sports activity compared with the level before ACL injury was highly significant.
Journal ArticleDOI
Variability of linezolid concentrations after standard dosing in critically ill patients: a prospective observational study
Michael Zoller,Barbara Maier,Cyrill Hornuss,Christina Neugebauer,Gundula Döbbeler,Dorothea Nagel,Lesca M. Holdt,Mathias Bruegel,Thomas Weig,B. Grabein,Lorenz Frey,Daniel Teupser,Michael Vogeser,Johannes Zander +13 more
TL;DR: The findings suggest that therapeutic drug monitoring of linezolid might be helpful for adequate dosing of lineZolid in critically ill patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Core Muscle Size Predicts Postoperative Outcome in Lung Transplant Candidates
Thomas Weig,Katrin Milger,Birgit Langhans,Silke Janitza,Alma Sisic,Klaus Kenn,Thomas Irlbeck,Andreas Pomschar,Thorsten R. C. Johnson,Michael Irlbeck,Jürgen Behr,Stephan Czerner,René Schramm,Hauke Winter,Claus Neurohr,Lorenz Frey,Nikolaus Kneidinger +16 more
TL;DR: Assessment of Lean psoas area can easily be assessed in LT candidates as part of pretransplant evaluation and was significantly associated with short-term outcome, whereas BMI was not.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pre- versus postoperative intraarticular application of local anesthetics and opioids versus femoral nerve block in anterior cruciate ligament repair.
TL;DR: In anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction preoperative intraarticular analgesia with Bupivacain/Fentanyl is satisfactory and equal to the femoralis 3-in-1 nerve block with B upvacain.
Journal ArticleDOI
Outcome of lung transplantation in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis with previous anti-fibrotic therapy.
Gabriela Leuschner,Florian Stocker,Tobias Veit,Nikolaus Kneidinger,Hauke Winter,René Schramm,Thomas Weig,Sandhya Matthes,Felix Ceelen,P Arnold,Dieter Munker,Friederike Klenner,Rudolf Hatz,Marion Frankenberger,Jürgen Behr,Claus Neurohr +15 more
TL;DR: The data show that previous use of anti-fibrotic therapy does not increase surgical complications or post-operative mortality after LTx, and no significant differences regarding survival were seen during the follow-up.
