Nuclear mass based on the multi-task learning neural network method

In this paper, the fission cross-sections of Th-232(n, f) and U-238(n, f) have been calculated using the fission barrier parameter obtained from Lublin-Strassbourg Drop Model (LSD) in the statistical model framework. This model has been derived from the modern liquid drop (NLD) by adding a first-order curvature term that depends on the deformation parameter. This term has resulted from the implementation of Leptodermous expansion of nuclear energy. The deformation function involved in LSD formulation is obtained from Funny Hills nuclear shape parameterization. The obtained results would be compared with another result calculated using ETFSI (Extended Thomas Fermi and Strutinsky Integral) method and experimental fission cross-section extracted from ENDF data.

Implementation of LSD Fission Barrier in Fission Cross Section Calculations


 Multinucleon transfer reactions are currently a powerful way to synthesize \red{neutron rich nuclei}. To explore the effect of nucleus deformation and mirror nucleus shell corrections energy in the nucleus mass model on the calculation of multinucleon transfer reaction cross sections in the dinuclear system(DNS) model. In this paper, three macroscopic-microscopic mass models are selected and the transfer reaction cross sections are calculated for $^{136}$Xe+$^{208}$Pb and $^{64}$Ni+$^{238}$U by improved DNS model+GEMINI++, respectively. The mirror nucleus shell correction energy does not improve the accuracy of the cross section of the transfer reaction. \red{The introduction of a different dependence of the Coulomb and surface energy on the deformation can improve the calculation of the transfer reaction cross section when the projectile and target nuclei are deformed nuclei.}

Eﬀect of deformation dependence and mirror nucleus corrections energy on multinucleon transfer reaction cross sections

A nuclear mass formula based on the macroscopic microscopic approach is proposed, in which the number of model parameters is reduced compared with other macroscopic microscopic models. The root mean square (RMS) deviation with respect to 2314 training sets (measured nuclear masses) is reduced to 0.447 MeV, and the calculated value of each nucleus is no more than 0.8% different from the experimental value. The single and two nucleon separation energies and the shell gaps are calculated to test the model. The shell corrections and double magic number of superheavy nuclei are also analyzed.
