Nucleic acid amplification reaction apparatus
Lawrence A. Haff,Enrico Picozza,Will Bloch,Robert Ragusa,Joseph L. DiCesare,David H. Tracy,Paul Saviano,Timothy M. Woudenberg +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a method for performing a nucleic acid amplification reaction and preferably a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in a reaction mixture in at least one capillary tube.
Patent
Device and method for multiple analyte detection
Timothy M. Woudenberg,Michael Albin,Reid B. Kowallis,Yefim Raysberg,Robert Ragusa,Emily S. Winn-Deen +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a method and device for simultaneously testing a sample for the presence, absence, and/or amounts of one or more of a plurality of selected analytes.
Patent
System for real time detection of nucleic acid amplification products
Timothy M. Woudenberg,Kevin S. Bodner,Charles R. Connell,Alan M. Ganz,Lincoln J. Mcbride,Paul G. Saviano,John Shigeura,David H. Tracy,Eugene F. Young,Linda G. Lee +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a system is provided for carrying out real-time fluorescence-based measurements of nucleic acid amplification products, where an excitation beam is focused into a reaction mixture through a surface.
Journal ArticleDOI
Optimization of the performance of the polymerase chain reaction in silicon-based microstructures
TL;DR: The ability to perform real-time homogeneous, sequence specific detection of PCR products in silicon microstructures is demonstrated, resulting in equivalent performance for high surface-to-volume silicon structures as compared to larger volume reactions in polypropylene tubes.
