Numerical studies of depressurization-induced gas production from an interbedded marine turbidite gas hydrate reservoir model

TL;DR: In this article, a numerical simulation of thin hydrate-bearing sand layers interbedded with mud layers is investigated, where the lowest hydrate layer occurs at the base of gas hydrate stability and overlies a thinly-interbedded saline aquifer.
ReportDOI

Gas hydrate reservoir characteristics and economics

TL;DR: The USGS Gas Hydrate Program as mentioned in this paper assesses the production characteristics and economic potential of gas hydrates in northern Alaska, using industry seismic data to assess the distribution of gas hyddrates within the nearshore Alaskan continental shelf.
