TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used high glucose (10mM) (HG) levels to induce ferroptosis in pancreatic β-cells (PBCs) and observed that hispidin, a polyphenol compound that can be isolated from Phellinus linteus, could attenuate ferroPTosis induced by HG in PBCs.
