Peculiarities in the evolution of the BUM of stimulated radio emission of the ionosphere
V. L. Frolov,Savely Grach,L. M. Erukhimov,G. P. Komrakov,Evgeny Sergeev,B. Tide,Tobia Carozzi +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the spectral and dynamic characteristics of broad upshifted maximum (BUM) in the spectrum of artificial ionospheric radio emission (AIRE) were studied and it was shown that BUM is already formed starting from pump-wave frequencies that are smaller by at least 10 kHz than the values of electron gyrofrequency harmonic nfHe determined by the disappearance of the principal downshifted maxima in AIRE spectrum.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analyzing the processes of excitation and decay of plasma turbulence near the fifth electron gyroharmonic using stimulated electromagnetic emission of the ionosphere
TL;DR: In this article, the results concerning the dynamics of stimulated electromagnetic emission (SEE) in the vicinity of the 5th electron gyroharmonic in the ionospheric-modification experiment were presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

White,Michael W. Wise,Sarod Yatawatta,Anton Zensus +84 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an efficient means of locating calibrator sources for International LOFAR is developed and used to determine the average density of usable calibrators on the sky for subarcsecond observations at 140 MHz.
Journal ArticleDOI
LINDA – the Astrid-2 Langmuir probe instrument
B. Holback,Å. Jacksén,L. Åhlén,S.-E. Jansson,Anders Eriksson,Jan-Erik Wahlund,Tobia Carozzi,J. Bergman +7 more
TL;DR: The Swedish micro-satellite Astrid-2, designed for studies in magnetosperic physics, was launched into orbit on 10 December 1998 from the Russian cosmodrome Plesetsk as mentioned in this paper.

Wise,Sarod Yatawatta,P. Zarka +78 more
TL;DR: The Long-Baseline Calibrator Survey (LBCS) as discussed by the authors aims to identify sources suitable for calibrating the highest-resolution observations made with the International LOFAR Telescope, which include baselines > 1000 km.
