Journal ArticleDOI

Systematic Treatment Selection: Toward Targeted Therapeutic Interventions. By Larry Beutler and John Clarkin. New York: Brunner/Mazel. 1990. 384 pp. $40.00.

TL;DR: In a field charac @ tensed for the most part by professorial idiosyncrasy this book stands well above its competitors as discussed by the authors and teachers of psychiatry, psychiatric nursing, psychology and social work will learn from it and should recommend it to their students.
Journal ArticleDOI

Introduction to Psychotherapy. An Outline of Psychodynamic Principles and Practice (2nd edn). By D. Brown and J. Pedder. London: Routledge. 1991. 237 pp. £9.99.
