Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector, a radiation detection system, and an X-ray CT system, capable of increasing the number of columns SOLUTION: The radiation detection system comprises a scintillator for converting X-rays, incident from a surface side into light; at least one photodiode chip provided with a plurality of photodiodes for converting the converted light into electrical signals; at least one switching chip, provided with a plurality of switching elements for reading a plurality of signals from among a plurality of the photodiodes; at least one data acquisition chip provided with a plurality of digital data acquisition sections for amplifying a plurality of signals that have been read out for digitizing; and a rigid printed-wiring board for commonly mounting the photodiode chips, the switching chips, and the data acquisition chips COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
