Image retrieval system using impression words
TL;DR: The image database system which can retrieve using impression words, ART MUSEUM, which allows users to retrieve images from a database of impressionist paintings by using adjective words is introduced.

On the stability of Lagrange programming neural networks for satisfiability problems of prepositional calculus
Masahiro Nagamatu,Torao Yanaru +1 more
TL;DR: This paper theoretically analyze the stability and the convergence property of one of the Lagrange programming neural networks (LPPH) when it is applied to a satisfiability problem (SAT) of prepositional calculus and proves that the solutions of the SAT are the equilibrium points of the LPPH and vice versa.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
An emotion processing system based on fuzzy inference and subjective observations
TL;DR: In this article, the internal emotion of a simulated person reacts on a sequence of inputted terms and evokes some emotional change, and how the emotional transition is done by subjective observations, when a poem is used for the input signal.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
A study of database system with KANSEI information
TL;DR: A model for subjectivity and physical perceptions is proposed, and an example in an image database system is given, to study how subjective impressions are grounded in physical perceptions, especially in visual perception.
Journal ArticleDOI
An emotion processing system based on fuzzy inference and subjective observations
TL;DR: Some attractive results obtained by the simulated emotion processing system are shown, namely, what kind of emotions are evoked, and how the emotional transition is done by subjective observations when a poem is used for the input signal.
