TL;DR: A 12-week-old boy presenting with incomplete refractory Kawasaki disease (KD) complicated with macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) is reported, and high-dose anakinra was initiated, and remission of the inflammation was achieved.

TL;DR: The incidence and phenotype of MIS-C in unvaccinated children during the delta wave is found to be similar to the incidence during the first year of the pandemic, and vaccine effectiveness to be high against MIS-c, which is suggested to be due to protection from infection and, possibly, a decreased incidence of MIS -C after breakthrough infection.
