TL;DR: In this paper, the DANSS detector is placed under an industrial 3.1 G W th reactor of the Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant 350 km NW from Moscow, and the distance to the core is varied on-line from 10.7 m to 12.7m.

TL;DR: The DANSS project as mentioned in this paper is aimed at creating a relatively compact neutrino spectrometer which does not contain any flammable or other dangerous liquids and may therefore be located very close to the core of an industrial power reactor.
Journal ArticleDOI
Digitization of Waveforms from Photosensors of the DANSS Detector
I. G. Alekseev,I. G. Alekseev,I. G. Alekseev,D. V. Kalinkin,A. S. Kobyakin,A. S. Kobyakin,I. V. Machikhiliyan,V. M. Nesterov,D. N. Svirida,N. A. Skrobova,N. A. Skrobova,A. S. Starostin +11 more
TL;DR: Owing to the extremely low analog noise, it is possible to use the full dynamic range of the digitization and these WFD modules are superior to other similar modules in the throughput and may find wide application to perform similar tasks of waveform digitization.
