X-ray studies of the YBa2Cu3O6+x superstructures in the range of 0.40(3) ≤ x ≤ 0.73(3)

TL;DR: By means of X-ray diffraction on single crystals of YBa 2 Cu 3 O 6+x with a well defined oxygen content, it was shown that the ortho-II phase 2a 0 xb 0 exists in the range of 0.40(3) ≤ x ≤ 0.63 as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Neutron diffraction study of weak antiferromagnetism in ytterbium orthoferrite

TL;DR: In this article, a single crystal of ytterbium orthoferrite at room temperature was studied and the relative value of the weak antiferromagnetic component Ay/Gx (hidden canting of the iron spins) was found to be 1.59(7)· 10 −2 in agreement with the theory.
Journal ArticleDOI

Magnetic ordering in the garner NaCa2Mn2V3O12

TL;DR: The magnetic structure of the garnet NaCa 2 Mn 2 V 3 O 12 with Mn 2+ ions at 16 a positions has been determined by neutron diffraction as discussed by the authors, and measurements of Young's modulus and the inverse susceptibility have been made.
