Optimal Reactive Power Flow for Large-Scale Power Systems Using an Effective Metaheuristic Algorithm

TL;DR: Stochastic fractal search method (SFS) is employed for solving the optimal reactive power flow (ORPF) problem with a target of optimizing total active power losses, voltage deviation, and voltage stability index.
Journal ArticleDOI

Research on the Buckling Behavior of Functionally Graded Plates with Stiffeners Based on the Third-Order Shear Deformation Theory.

TL;DR: A finite element formulation to study the mechanical buckling of stiffened functionally graded material (FGM) plates showed that the addition of stiffener to the FGM plate could significantly reduce the weight of theFGM plate but that both the F GM plates with and without stiffener had equally high strength in the same boundary condition and compression loading.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Finite Element Model for Dynamic Analysis of Triple-Layer Composite Plates with Layers Connected by Shear Connectors Subjected to Moving Load.

TL;DR: Novel equations are proposed, which utilize Mindlin’s theory and finite element modelling to simulate the forced vibration of triple-layered composite plates with layers connected by shear connectors subjected to a moving load.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cooperative Communications for Improving the Performance of Bidirectional Full-Duplex System With Multiple Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces

TL;DR: In this paper, the outage probability and ergodic capacity of a RIS-assisted FD system with a direct link between two terminals and multiple reflecting paths created by RISs over the Rayleigh fading channel were derived.
Journal ArticleDOI

Power Beacon-Assisted Energy Harvesting in a Half-Duplex Communication Network under Co-Channel Interference over a Rayleigh Fading Environment: Energy Efficiency and Outage Probability Analysis

TL;DR: This paper investigates power beacon assisted (PB) energy harvesting in half-duplex (HD) communication network under co-channel Interferer over Rayleigh fading environment and investigates the model system with the time switching (TS) protocol.
