Indonesian females lecture are expected to perform double roles to do domestic chores and take care of their children. This condition may create conflicts if female lecturers cannot perform their duties as expected by their employers and families. These conflicts then turn into mental pressure and experiences of burnout. The aim of this study is to find out the impacts of family-work conflicts and burnout among female lecturers. The subjects of this study are 160 lecturers who are female, are married, and have children. Research data are generated using family-work conflict scale and burnout scale. The data are analyzed using regression analysis technique. The results of data analysis also show that the conflict between work and family strongly associate with burnout among female lecturers. The result findings also show that there are two dimensions of family-work conflicts which may cause burnout: behavior-based conflict dan time-based conflict. By implication, this study can help expand the understanding of burnout among female lecturers which may lead to the improvement of the quality of their working environments. In this way, better understanding of the impacts of living environments and individual characteristics on burnnouts can benefit the lecturers themselves and the institutions they work at.

The Impacts of Work-Family Conflict on Burnout among Female Lecturers

Abstract 
            This study aims to determine the effectiveness of economic tokens on organizational commitment to members of the Padang Bulan Student Cooperative. The method used is quantitative and experimental methods, using the One-Shot Case Study design. Respondents of this study were 33 members of the Padang Bulan Student Cooperative for Basic Education Force 19, 20, and 21. The samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. The distribution of questionnaires was carried out as a data collection technique. And the overall aspect score is 2.47. So it can be concluded that the giving of economic tokens to the commitment of the members of the Padang Bulan Student Cooperative is categorized as ineffective.

Abstrak 
            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas token ekonomi terhadap komitmen organisasi pada anggota Koperasi Mahasiswa Padang Bulan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dan eksperimen, dengan menggunakan desain One-Shot Case Study. Responden penelitian ini yaitu 33 Anggota Koperasi Mahasiswa Padang Bulan Angkatan Pendidikan Dasar 19, 20, dan 21 dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penyebaran angket dilakukan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Pada penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil skor 2,47 pada setiap aspek baik pada pemenuhan penerimaan dan kepercayaan dalam nilai-nilai, keinginan dalam memenuhi, berusaha uintuk kepentingann organisasi, dan penguatan keinginan untuk tetap terlibat sebagai anggota organisasi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian token ekonomi terhadap komitmen organisasi anggota Koperasi Mahasiswa Padang Bulan dikategorikan tidak efektif.

Efektivitas Token Ekonomi Terhadap Komitmen Organisasi Anggota Koperasi Mahasiswa Padang Bulan

The aim of this study is to describe organizational commitment between type A personality’s and type B is personality’s workers on three companies. Organizational commitment is define as the degree of psychological identification with or attachment to the organization for which we work. Participant of this study was 108 workers from three different companies. Data was obtained by questionnaire and processed with SPSS for Windows ver. 12. Using Mann-Whitney independent t-test for non parametric, the result of organizational commitment U = 1183, p > 0.05, showed that there is no difference of organizational commitment between type A personality and type B personality on company X, Y, and Z.
