Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of growth regulators and carbon sources on callus induction, growth and morphogenesis from leaf tissues of peach (Prunus persica L. Batsch)
TL;DR: Leaf segments of Prunus persica (L.) Batsch ‘Elberta Queen’ were collected from in vitro-grown proliferating shoots and cultured onto a basal medium supplemented with a wide range of TDZ concentrations (3 to 23 µM), and caulogenesis was observed along cut margins of leaf explants.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of source of macronutrients and plant growth regulator concentrations on shoot proliferation of Cornus florida
TL;DR: To optimize the proliferation rate, shoots were cultured on WPM macronutrients supplemented with eight combinations of BA and IBA, and 3.3 μM BA without IBA was determined to be the best.
Journal ArticleDOI
Shoot Regeneration from Leaf Tißues of Phlox paniculata L.
TL;DR: BA was more effective than TDZ in inducing more shoots and more regeneration sites per explant, and with les callus development, however, hyperhydration (vitrification) of shoot regenerants on media containing 1 μmol/L BA and 0 or 0.5 μ mol/L IAA prevented further elongation of these shoots.
Journal ArticleDOI
De novo nocturia: A red flag for coronary heart disease patients.
Veronique Declerck,Tine De Backer,Kim Pauwaert,Mary L Callens,J. Desimpel,J. Weiss,Reema Kamal Haddad,E. Van Laecke,François Hervé,Karel Everaert +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated whether nocturia can be identified as a red flag de novo symptom in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) and found a significant correlation between age at which noctures and cardiac symptoms occurred (r=0.89, p<0.001).
