A robust ℋ ∞ observer design for unknown input nonlinear systems: Application to fault diagnosis of a wind turbine
TL;DR: The paper revisits the recent results proposed in the literature and provides a less restrictive design procedure of a robust UIO and the general UIO strategy and the ℋ∞ framework are provided to design a robust fault estimation methodology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Robust economic model predictive control based on a periodicity constraint
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a study supported in part by the Spanish State Research Agency (AEI) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERFD) through projects DEOCS (DPI2016•76493•C3) and SCAV(DPI2017•88403•R), the FPI grant (BES•2014•068319), and in part, AGAUR of Generalitat de Catalunya through the Advanced Control Systems (SAC) group under grant (2017•SGR•482).
Journal ArticleDOI
Zonotopic set-membership estimation for switched systems based on Wi-radius minimization: vehicle application
TL;DR: The proposed design is applied to the robust state estimation of vehicle lateral dynamics state of guaranteed set-membership state estimation based on zonotopes for discrete-time switched systems with bounded uncertainties and unknown inputs.
Book ChapterDOI
Gas turbine model-based robust fault detection using a forward – backward test
TL;DR: In this article, a mixed approach consisting in determining a computationally cheaper inner approximation of the estimated output interval, based only on simulating vertices of parameter uncertainty region, is combined with a backward consistency check when the real measured output falls outside this inner solution.

Flowmeter data validation and reconstruction methodology to provide the annual efficiency of a water transport network: the ATLL case study in Catalonia
Joseba Quevedo,Josep Pascual,Vicenç Puig,Jordi Saludes,Ramon Sarrate,Santiago Espin,Jaume Roquet +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a flowmeter data validation/reconstruction methodology that determines the annual economic and hydraulic efficiency of a water transport network. But this methodology is not suitable for the case of Aigues Ter Llobregat (ATLL) company, which is in charge of managing 80% of the overall water transport networks in Catalonia (Spain).
