Synthesis and crystal structure of the coordination polymer [{Li(H 2 O) 3 } 2 (C 36 H 36 N 24 O 12 )]Cl 2 •6H 2 O

TL;DR: The coordination polymer of the composition [Li(H2O)3}2(C36H36N24O12)]Cl2•6H 2O (1) was synthesized by heating an aqueous solution of lithium chloride and cucurbit[6]uril (CB[6]). According to singlecrystal X-ray diffraction data, solvated lithium cations in compound 1 form coordination bonds with oxygen atoms of CB[6]- molecules as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Two-Dimensional Coordination Polymer {[Bi(Рyz)I 3 ]}: Structure and Analysis of the Packing Using the Hirshfeld Surface Method

TL;DR: In this article, the contributions of various interatomic contacts to the crystal packing of compound I are studied using the Hirshfeld surface analysis performed for the elementary unit of the compound I.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inclusion Compound of Phthalic Anhydride in Porous Homochiral Zinc Terephthalate Lactate: The Effect of Guests on the Geometrical Characteristics of the Metal-Organic Framework

TL;DR: The inclusion compound [Zn2(dmf)(bdc)(S-lac)] · 0.5FTA (FTA = phthalic anhydride) is obtained by keeping the crystals of porous homochiral metal-organic coordination polymer [Zm2(mf)(bdc)(Slac] · DMF (DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide, H2bdc = terephthalic acid, S-H2lac = S-lactic acid) with excess phTHC at 100 °C

Cluster Oxalate Complexes [W3(μ3-Q)(μ2-Q)3 (C2O4)3(H2O)3]2− (Q=S, Se): Mechanochemical Synthesis and Crystal Structure

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors characterized the X-ray structure analysis of cluster coordination polymers and showed that the reaction mixture with water followed by crystallization gives crystalline results. But the results were limited to the case of the Se cluster and the treatment of the aqueous extract with PPh3 gave a low yield.
