Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of isomeric 4-(N-methyltetrazolylamino)-2-phenyl-4H-thiopyrano[2,3-b]quinoline-3-carbaldehydes and 4-hydroxy-2-phenyl-4H-thiopyrano[2,3-b]quinoline-3-carbaldehyde based on tandem thiol-Michael and (aza)-Morita–Baylis–Hillman reactions and an in vitro study of the activity of the obtained c
Andrey V. Khramchikhin,M. A. Skryl’nikova,Yuliya N. Pavlyukova,Vladimir V. Zarubaev,Yana L Esaulkova,Anna A. Muryleva,Nadezhda T. Shmanyova,G. G. Danagulyan,Vladimir A. Ostrovskii +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors showed that the replacement of the hydroxyl group in 4-hydroxy-2-phenyl-4H-thiopyrano[2,3-b]quinoline-3-carbaldehyde with a 1-methyl- or 5-amino-2methyltetrazolyl fragment decreased antiviral activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and Inhibition of Influenza H1N1 Virus by Propargylaminoalkyl Derivative of Lithocholic Acid
Anastasiya V. Petrova,I. E. Smirnova,Yulia N. Pavlyukova,Vladimir V. Zarubaev,Thao Tran Thi Phuong,Oxana B. Kazakova +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the Mannich reaction was used to synthesize the conjugate of 3-oxo-lithocholic acid with N-methylpiperazine and paraform.
Journal ArticleDOI
Механизмы противовирусной активности экстракта ладанника шалфеелистного (Cistus salviifolius) в отношении респираторных вирусов человека
Ya. L. Esaulkova,Anna A. Muryleva,Ekaterina O. Sinegubova,S. V. Belyaevskaya,Angelica V. Garshinina,M. A. Kireeva,Alexandrina S. Volobueva,Alexander V. Slita,Renata A. Kadyrova,Vladimir V. Zarubaev +9 more
TL;DR: The data obtained indicate that C.salviifolius extract serves as an effective and broad-range means of preventing respiratory viral infections in humans.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular Modeling of Viral Type I Fusion Proteins: Inhibitors of Influenza Virus Hemagglutinin and the Spike Protein of Coronavirus
Sophia S. Borisevich,Vladimir V. Zarubaev,D. N. Shcherbakov,Olga I. Yarovaya,Nariman F. Salakhutdinov +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a review systematizes knowledge about the results of molecular modeling aimed at finding and explaining the mechanisms of antiviral activity of entry inhibitors, including the formation of fusion pores through which the viral genome enters the cytoplasm of the cell.
Journal ArticleDOI
Efficacy of an isoxazole-3-carboxamide analog of pleconaril in mouse models of Enterovirus-D68 and Coxsackie B5.

Kosten,Alexandrina S. Volobueva,Svetlana V. Belyaevskaya,Vladimir V. Zarubaev,Richard J. Kuhn,Vadim Makarov,Sean Ekins +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper , an isoxazole-3-carboxamide analog of pleconaril (11526092) was developed to demonstrate potent inhibition of EV-D68 and other enteroviruses including the plecon-aril-resistant Coxsackievirus B3-Woodruff (IC50 6-20 nM) and CVB5 (EC50 1 nM).
