Urinary excretion of diethylphosphorus metabolites in persons poisoned by quinalphos or chlorpyrifos
TL;DR: Simultaneous determination of both metabolites gave a more reliable and sensitive confirmation of absorption and retention of quinalphos and chlorpyrifos in the body.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chlorpyrifos metabolites in serum and urine of poisoned persons.
TL;DR: Concentrations of parent pesticide and corresponding diethylphosphorus metabolites in blood serum and urine were investigated in persons who had ingested a concentrated solution of organophosphorus pesticide chlorpyrifos and confirmed that part of chlorp Pyrifos was hydrolysed before its oxidation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Herbicide micropollutants in surface, ground and drinking waters within and near the area of Zagreb, Croatia
Sanja Fingler,Gordana Mendaš,Marija Dvoršćak,Sanja Stipičević,Želimira Vasilić,Vlasta Drevenkar +5 more
TL;DR: The frequency and mass concentrations of 13 herbicide micropollutants (triazines, phenylureas, chloroacetanilides and trifluralin) were investigated during 2014 in surface, ground and drinking waters in the area of the city of Zagreb and its suburbs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dialkylphosphorus metabolites in the urine and activities of esterases in the serum as biochemical indices for human absorption of organophosphorus pesticides.
TL;DR: It is confirmed that dialkylphosphorus metabolites in the urine are a more sensitive index of absorption than cholinesterase inhibition in the serum but lack of correlation between cholinerase inhibition and metabolite concentration indicates that both parameters should be monitored.
Journal ArticleDOI
Distribution of terbuthylazine and atrazine residues in crop-cultivated soil: The effect of herbicide application rate on herbicide persistence
Sanja Stipičević,Natalija Galzina,Nikolina Udiković-Kolić,Tamara Jurina,Gordana Mendaš,Marija Dvoršćak,Ines Petrić,Klara Barić,Vlasta Drevenkar +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of application rate on the distribution and persistence of atrazine (ATR), terbuthylazine (TBA), and their dealkylated degradation products in two conventionally cultivated cornfield soils was carried out.
