Template Synthesis of a Coordinated Tetracarbene Ligand with Crown Ether Topology
Journal ArticleDOI
Template Synthesis of Benzannulated N-Heterocyclic Carbene Ligands
TL;DR: The molecular structures of complexes 9 and 11-15 were confirmed by X-ray diffraction studies and the ligand spontaneously cyclizes by intramolecular nucleophilic attack of the primary amine at the isocyanide carbon atom to yield the 2,3-dihydro-1H-benzimidazol-2-ylidene complexes 12 and 13.
Journal ArticleDOI
Template synthesis of tungsten complexes with saturated N-heterocyclic carbene ligands
TL;DR: Tungsten complex with a coordinated 2-azidoethyl isocyanide ligand reacts with PMe3 at the azido function to give a complex withA coordinated iminophosphorane which upon hydrolysis of the P=N bond yields acomplex with an NH,NH-stabilized N-heterocyclic carbene ligand.

Templatsynthese eines koordinierten Tetracarben‐Liganden mit Kronenether‐Topologie
Journal ArticleDOI
Cyclic polycarbene ligands with crown ether structure

TL;DR: In this paper, the cyclization reaction of coordinated β-functional phenyl isocyanides was used to generate coordinated anellated N-heterocyclic carbenes.
