The Theory of the measurement of magnetic multipole fields with rotating coil magnetometers
TL;DR: The theory of the measurement of multipole fields with rotating coil devices with particular emphasis on the analysis of the sources of error in these measurements was developed in cylindrical coordinates for the full three-dimensional magnetic field as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Resonant coherent excitation of N6+ and Mg11+ in planar channeling: anisotropies in ionization probabilities and X-ray emission
Sheldon Datz,Peter F. Dittner,H.F. Krause,C. R. Vane,Oakley H. Crawford,J.S. Forster,G.S. Ball,W.G. Davies,J.S. Geiger +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the X-ray anisotropic alignment was observed in both the separate ionization probabilities and the X ray anisotropy in the channel, where the various possible m states being non-degenerate in a channel are separable.
Journal ArticleDOI
Is 36Cl from weapons' test fallout still cycling in the atmosphere?
R.J. Cornett,H.R. Andrews,L.A. Chant,W.G. Davies,B.F. Greiner,Y. Imahori,V.T. Koslowsky,T.G. Kotzer,J.C.D. Milton,G.M. Milton +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors tested the hypothesis that 36Cl concentrations in these systems are elevated because 36Cl from weapons test fallout is still cycling through the biosphere and four sets of observations support this interpretation of the elevated concentrations of 36Cl.
