Vibrational spectra of Na3SbS4, Na3SbS4·9H2O (Schlippe's salt) and Na3SbS4·9D2O

TL;DR: Powder Raman and far ir spectra of Na3SbS4 and single crystal Raman were measured in the temperature range T = 75-295 K as discussed by the authors, and the OH(D) stretching frequencies, ν = 3309(2449)−3422(2550) cm−1, support the existence of a marked hydrogen bond system not only between different water molecules, but also between the hydrate water molecules and the sulphur atoms of the SbS 4 groups in Schlippe's salt.
Journal ArticleDOI

Vibrational spectroscopic study of hydrogen bonds in Na2S2O3·5(D, H)2O and BaS2O3·(D, H)2O

TL;DR: In this article, the uncoupled OD(H) frequencies of the five hydrate water molecules of sodium thiosulfate were observed in the range v = 2515-2545 (3400-3445) cm −1 which closely fits into the up-to-now obtained pattern about O ǫD(h) … O and O Ã H ) S hydrogen bonds.
